This is what has been happening on AMC the week of July 30. Tony got up to Willow Lake and managed to rig Greg's power skis so they would explode while in use. In the meanwhile Greg convinces Jenny to give them a try. Tad arrives and wants to try them out too but alas Jenny is firm on her decision. The skis explode and Tad and Greg rush to pull her out of the water. She is very seriously injured. She is rushed to the hospital at Pine Valley for emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding. It does not look good... Doty is pregnant with Tad's baby. She thinks that he will marry her when he finds out. Erica is trying to hold onto Mike and schemes to meet him in Mexico City by connocting a story to Adam about business there. Palmer was proven innocent of tax fraud and so has his riches back. He plans to tell Ross that he is his father. Of course Adam and Joanna are trying to keep him from doing so. -- Rose Alford

This is probably only partial, as I haven't been watching non-stop. Let's see if I can get all this straight. Erica is trying to drive Adam crazy by making phone calls and sending notes that are supposedly from his dead wife (the one she suspects he killed). Adam is quite nervous about it, and Stuart isn't helping matters by getting hysterical over everything. While breaking an old figurine that I guess belonged to the dead wife, Erica got locked in an upstairs closet. Adam came running upstairs when he heard the crash and came after whatever was in the closet with a gun, but didn't find Erica who was hiding in a trunk. Later, she revealed that she had found several letters in that trunk, letters written by Adam and the dead wife (whose name escapes me now). From it, she found out that Adam had once sent the wife a music box with the song "Alice Blue Gown" and it was her favorite song, so Erica called Adam and played a music box with that song, which drove him mad! Today, she went to Ellen to ask her help in finding out what Adam is up to, but Ellen refused to help ("Ross asked me particularly not to get involved... I don't lie to my husband"). While Erica was asking her help -- or rather, demanding her help -- Adam walked in: "If you're so desperate to know, Erica, why don't you ask me?" The night Benny's club opened, oh-so-much happened. Hillary and Bob were dancing away when who should walk in but Tad! Phoebe cornered him and threatened him, but he pooh poohed her and she went off to call the police. Meanwhile, he went over to Hillary and asked her to dance; she accepted. While they danced, he said that he was giving up, that he wished her well with Bob, that he was sorry. Then the police came rushing in, Hillary got them off his back, and told them that if ever Phoebe calls them, they should disregard it (this could come up again sometime, with dire consequences!). Recently, Hillary signed up for a tutoring class and guess who needs tutoring! Yes, today Hillary was seen tutoring Tad on history. Some woman named Rita came in and was all over Tad, accused Hillary of still having the hots for him. Phoebe tried to get Bob to stop this development, but he trusts Hillary and will not DEMAND that she stop. And now Phoebe's all huffy and saying that she is the only one willing to stand up for Hillary. Benny went to see Tom the day Benny's club opened. He said that Tom should reassess his relationship with Donna, because it seemed that it was going nowhere, and if Tom were to step out of the picture, Benny is sure he could make Donna love him. Then Benny also spoke with Donna and convinced her that her dignity was worth more than waiting for Tom. Later, Donna spoke with Tom and said that it would be best if she left him; he didn't argue. In fact, later Tom came by Edna's (where Donna was) and said goodbye, she was right. So the night of the club opening, Donna went to Benny and thrilled him by accepting a hamburger from him. Cheap date. Things among Jesse, Yvonne, and Eugene are still volcanic. Eugene is trying to muscle in on Jesse's managing role, and Jesse is trying to stop Yvonne and Eugene from having an affair. Angie is pretty lost in all this. Greg is nearly nonexistent, relegated to the ranks of the Martins, Mona, and all the others who sort of wander in and out. Although, I hear he's been dating Dottie. What a couple! But the big story of the past weeks has been Cynthia and Palmer. June (Cynthia's "close" friend from long ago) accidentally revealed to Andrew that he is not the son of what's-his-name (Chase something or other? or something or other Chase?) but is the result of a one night stand with a stableboy. So Andrew has turned against his mother and had been considering telling Palmer the truth before the wedding. But he hemmed and hawed and delayed so much that they were married before he could do anything. He almost told Palmer afterward, but ended up just asking if Palmer loved his mother. Meanwhile, Cynthia made a pass at Ross, and is fantasizing about making love with him amid red satin sheets. Nina had begun to disbelieve the scam being pulled by Linda and (oh, where is my mind, I can't remember now! He's the real slime, you know!) him. But he made Linda eat a strawberry (or something like that) that she is real allergic to, and she had a fit, and Nina got all panicky, and what's his name (this is driving me crazy) cured her when Nina was out of the room. It was a pill he gave her, not this focused energy jazz. So now Nina believes in him again. I think that's about it for AMC (whew!) ck.

AMC as of 3/27/85 Judge Martell and his cronies have taken Brooke (who is supposedly in Solitary Confinement) out of prison to Ravenswood where they are keeping Mark. They tried torturing Mark in front of Brooke to make her talk, but it didn't work as she and Mark realize that as soon as they admit that Mark is her source, they will both be killed. Martell sends Howie (I think that's the cronies name) to kidnap Laura. Howie finds Donna babysitting with Laura (Benny was upstairs with the baby when he arrived), but Donna makes enough noise to alert Benny who bashes Howie over the head with a vase. Howie runs off. Daisy slept with Zach one more time in order to steal the pictures that Zach had of he and Nina in bed together. Zach, however, told Palmer that he has copies and that he now wants $1,000,000 to not sell them to Men's World Magazine. Cynthia is still scheming to stop Zach from showing Palmer the pictures of her and Ross in bed together. Hillary had admitted her love for Tad and was going to break it off with Bob, but Bob told her that he has a fatal disease and that he only has a year to live. Hillary decided to go thru with marrying Bob. Jesse is still trying to control his desire for Yvonne in order to save his marriage with Angie. Erica and Mike are preparing for their upcoming marriage. Dottie and Greg continue to see more of each other. Benny and Donna are sharing an apartment now. --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle

This occurred 4/2/85: Brooke and Mark are finally out of the woods! Mike's been shot and hurt badly! Somehow Mark and Brooke escaped the clutches of their captors and were free on the grounds of Ravenswood. However, their escape was discovered and Martell sent out some of his cronies to capture them again. Mike found them and they all tried to escape in a jeep, but the jeep wouldn't start. Martell's huge henchman found them and shot at them, but Mike jumped into a tractor and ran him over. They started to run for the mansion, only to be shot at by another guy. They ran again and eventually overwhelmed him, too. Mike was the hero by attacking the guy wielding a gun with a *handy* stick. They ran back towards the mansion again, only to find the first guy (who had been run over by the tractor) standing there, bloody and armed - he shot towards them and hit Mike three times!!!! ..... then I left for 10 minutes .... The next thing I saw was policemen arresting Martell with Brooke and Mark standing there. Brooke told Martell that Mark had been her source all along, to add insult to injury, and she said if Mike Roy dies, she'll do everything to see that Martell is sentenced for life. Erica is in the ambulance with Mike on the way to the hospital - she is devastated and keeps asking one of the paramedics to tell her he'll be OK. She is very upset. Jesse is having trouble controlling his desire for Yvonne. She wants to give him a key to her apartment, but he refuses. She asserts that he'll come around. Why do the writers always make so much trouble for Jesse?! Daisy has finally convinced Nina that Zach is bad news - Nina almost called the police, but Daisy talked her out of it (bad publicity). Who knows what Nina will do now? Zach was attacked in the Rend-Day-Voo by an irate Sloane, who almost killed himself in the process. Zach is getting increasingly agitated at being "pushed around" by the upper-class folks. He says they're dealing with ***ZACH GRAYSON*** and that soon he'll show them all who's in power. He's even scaring Linda with his power-hungriness - he almost seems sick. Ross and Cynthia are just about to pay him off, and so is Palmer. He wants to blackmail Cliff now, too (with what??). Linda isn't so hot on the idea since somewhere in that pebble she calls a heart, she does care for Cliff. Plus, I think Linda stole whatever it is that Zach has to blackmail Cliff with. That's all for now!! an AMC addict since Chuck and Terra were married, Noemi

Mike is hanging on in the hospital. Zach showed Cliff the *pornographic* photos of Nina. Much to my surprise, Cliff attacked Zach (I was surprised because Cliff is such a milque-toast!) and would have killed him if Bryan Sanders hadn't stopped him. Linda and Nina got in an argument and Linda told Nina all about the porn photos. On the subject of Zach's impending demise, I would like to agree with the earlier prediction. Zach has gone over the edge mentally, and in the last 24 hours (show time) Zach has been publicly threatened with death 3 times - First Tad, at Benny's (over the $10,000 Zach swindled from him) Then Sloane at Ron-Day-Voo threatened Zach (over the porn photos) Then Cliff at Pine Valley Hospital. I think they are setting up for a murder. --> Allen <-- ihnp4!ihuxb!alle

Not much going on today. Mike is still hanging in there. He went in for another operation by a new doctor (Palmer convinced Erica to pull Cliff off the case). He regained consciousness, but told Erica he didn't think he was going to make it. Jesse had a fight with Angie, then went over and slept with Yvonne. Jesse's brother knew about the whole thing. He sent some of Yvonne's stuff over with Angie trying to get Angie to see them in bed. Edna is trying to get Dottie to go out with Andrew. Dottie broke the news to her that she is moving to New York to work. Edna was upset, but she's not going to stop Dottie. Tad and Edna had a fight about money in the boutique - Tad is working there now. He keeps dreaming of his conversations with Hillary while he's working. Tom is back in town and is making eyes at Brooke. He wants to reunite his family. But Mark gave Brooke a beautiful engagement ring. She told him that as far as she was concerned, they were already married, so why rush the wedding. Nina tried to get over to Zach's to confront him, but she had a minor automobile accident, and was admitted to the hospital for the afternoon for observation. She figured out that this is what her mother and Cliff are so upset about. Cliff went to New York to do an interview for his TV program, and she can't get hold of him to tell him that it's a big mistake. Zach chased Linda out of the apartment for the rest of the evening, then was running his hands through all the money he's already gotten out of the bank (Tad's and Nina's). He's waiting for everyone to show up.

(Tuesday and Wednesday) First the dirt, then the sad news. Angie went over to Yvonne's to take the box of stuff. She caught Jesse and Yvonne in bed together. She ran home and Eugene was there to comfort her. Jesse came in and tried to make up with Angie, but she told him that they were no longer married. She also mentioned that Eugene had been the one who suggested she go over to Yvonne's. Jesse ran out of the house to Benny's to have it out with Eugene. They got into a yelling match, but Benny broke it up. Tad found out about Bob! He sneaked into his father's medical records and found out that Bob was terminal. He confronted Hillary, but she still would not change her mind. Then he went to talk to Bob about it. But Hillary showed up to stop him. Instead, he asked Bob for $50 to pay off Edna (she wants $100 from Tad by sunset). He earned the other $50 at the boutique. He's still threatening to kill Zach. Later, he was at Benny's and saw Linda there. He had an argument with her about what a lying, cheating, etc. girl she was. She told him he was stupid to give that kind of money to someone like Zach, especially when Tad knew nothing about the investment. Tad threated to kill Zach, again. After he left, Linda called Zach to warn him about Tad's threat. He just laughed, then told Linda not to call there anymore. She wanted to come back, but he's still refusing to have her around until the business is concluded. They sure are dragging out this murder plot. Ross had a talk with Cynthia at The Goal Post. They acted like they were having a fight, but she handed him a key (to Zach's? to a safety deposit box?) during their words. He's supposed to be meeting Zach with the money, but Cynthia told Tom Cudahy that "she had to keep a clear head tonight, 'cause she's got a lot to accomplish," or something like that. What's she going to do? And she also mentioned to Ross that she still wanted to kill Zach. Ellen is beginning to suspect that Ross may be cheating. She's very suspicious that he never lets her answer the phone. Also, he told her that he was talking to a business contact, but when Ellen mentioned to Adam that Ross had gone to meet this guy, Adam said it was impossible - the contact was in Los Angeles. Ellen got pretty upset, but is hoping she misunderstood the man's name when Ross mentioned it. Brooke brought Benny a picture of her daughter to thank Benny for saving her from the kidnappers. She broadcast a big story and told all and now she's becoming a hero. She's really glad to be back in circulation again. She also showed Benny her engagement ring and told him that when she and Mark were being held, they weren't sure if they'd come out of it alive, so they exchanged vows and married themselves. Benny is definitely in love with Donna, but I don't think she's returning hes affection. Now, for the saddest of all - Mike died today (Wednesday). It was really sad. Erica had gotten the rings, the license, and the minister so they could be married this afternoon in the hospital. All of a sudden, the doctor rushed out and told her to come quickly - Mike's condition was deteriorating rapidly. Erica ran in and held Mike's hand. Mike's last words were "I'll always love you, Eric..." (he never got out that last 'a'). She threw herself on him and tried to revive him, screaming MIKE! The doctors came in, but they couldn't save him. They left Erica alone in the room with him and she cried and told Mike how much she loved him, how she doesn't know how to live without him, etc. Then she slipped the wedding ring on his finger. It was beautiful - I almost cried (really!). Poor Erica. She'd finally gotten the first man she truly loved, she was becoming a real person. It's going to be rough for her to keep the good she's acquired from being with Mike. --- Karen ---

Thursday, April 11 ------------------ Jesse and Angie have split up, but Jesse is going to try his best to be good and get them back together. He is going to be staying with Greg for awhile. The rest of the show is more murder set-up. Linda was at Benny's and saw Andrew. She bragged to Andrew that she was going to be rich, and also that "her man" was great in bed. Andrew decided to burst her bubble. He told her about Zach sleeping with Daisy and coming on to Cynthia. Linda wouldn't believe it. Andrew told her that Zach had been using her all along. Linda told him that he was just trying to get back at her. Andrew said "There's no need for me to get back at you. Zach will do the dirty work for me." Linda left Benny's and went over to Zach's place. Zach was really angry that she was there. She confronted him with what Andrew had said. At first he denied it. But she didn't believe him. She said that Andrew didn't have the imagination to make it up. They started quarreling, then Linda found the things that Zach was packing. On top of one of the bags, she found an airline ticket. She opened it up - there was only ONE ticket. "Where's my ticket?" she asked. Zach replied "It's there somewhere. Look for it." But Linda knew there was no other ticket. Then she read it - the ticket was for Rio for a flight leaving at 9:00pm. They were supposed to be going to Canada at 10:00pm. She realized she'd been used, and she became livid. She accused Zach of never intending to take her with him. Zach tried to calm her down with some lame excuse, but she started screaming, wrecking furniture, etc. He finally pinned her down and told her he never loved her, that he'd used her, and that no one could ever love someone like her. She squirmed free, screaming the whole time, and grabbed a very long kitchen knife, then started after Zach. (End of scene) Ross is headed over to Zach's with their share of the blackmail money. But he was in a very nasty mood when he set out to go over there. Cynthia thinks that even the tiniest thing Zach could say might push him over the edge. Cynthia and Andrew were waiting for Ross at The Chateau. Cynthia was going crazy with worry and started questioning Ellen if Ross had gotten back. Ellen wanted to know why Cynthia was concerned about Ross. Cynthia replied she had business with Ross. Ellen said that she didn't know of any business and Cynthia and Ross could possibly have with each other, but she would let Cynthia know when Ross returned. But Cynthia couldn't wait. She told Andrew to pay the check, then left him there while she went over to Zach's to see about Ross (she had a bad feeling that something terrible was going to happen). Donna came over to Courtlandt Manor to talk to Palmer about Nina. She told Palmer that Nina had been in a minor accident because of something to do with Zach. Palmer called the hospital and spoke to Dr. Martin. After finding out that it wasn't serious, Palmer took out some anger on Donna and told her everything was her fault since she didn't tell anyone what she knew about Zach. Donna got very upset, but went home and Benny calmed her down. She told Benny that she has a terrible feeling that something awful was going to happen. Palmer called Daisy and told her about Nina's accident. She rushed over to the hospital. Nina asked her about the pictures, and finally Daisy showed her one (that she just happened to have in her purse). Nina was outraged. She told Daisy that she was going to confront Zach, then kill him. Daisy tried to calm her down, and finally promised that she would go with Nina to Zach's. She went to get Dr. Martin to check Nina out, but when they returned, Nina had gone. Meanwhile, Palmer was geting angrier. Finally, he told Myra he was going to take care of Zach. He went to the gun cabinet and was going to shoot Zach instead of taking him the money. Myra talked him out of it, saying Palmer's life was too important and he was too loved to risk himself over that slime. Palmer finally put the gun away, gave Myra the key to the gun cabinet, then went to Zach's. But he told Myra, as he was leaving, that he would take care of Zach with his own two hands instead of with a gun. Myra was very concerned. She talked to Jasper and told him that one of them should follow Palmer to Zach's to make sure he wouldn't do anything to jeopardize his life. At first, Jasper refused. He told Myra that he agreed with Palmer - "Zach should be eliminated." Finally, she convinced him to go over there (she, too, had a feeling that something terrible was going to happen). Cliff may be heading over to Zach's. He told Ellen that he had "one more call to make this evening." So, heading to Zach's (or already there) are: Linda (with knife) Palmer Ross Cynthia Jasper Nina Cliff (maybe) Suspects, but not yet on their way: Myra (with key to gun cabinet) Andrew Daisy Tad (he wasn't on the show today) Adam (I didn't know he was a suspect until I read today's net. Why would he want to kill Zach? I don't think that Ross's trouble would make him mad enough to kill. Then again, Adam is a little bit warped.) Well, 'til tomorrow..... -- Karen Pline --

Monday, April 15 ---------------- Daisy was arrested for the murder. She denied that she did it. But when asked if she knew who had motive to kill Zach, she could only think of Nina, so she refused to say anything. Palmer tried to bail her out, but the guard on duty wouldn't let him in to see her. Her bail hearing won't be until tomorrow, so she has to spend the night in jail. Cynthia didn't want Palmer to go down there and get involved, but Palmer was angry and said that he had to go. The knife seems to be the murder weapon, but the only prints the police found were Daisy's. So far, it looks bad for her. Ross lost a button in Zach's apartment - but when? It was lying by the sofa, and the police found it. From what I saw on Friday, the way Ross came in and found Daisy, he couldn't have lost it then. It may be that he was there with Cynthia or something before Daisy got there! Cynthia showed up at Courtlandt Manor pretty late, but feeling great. She told Andrew that they didn't have to worry about Zach anymore, but she wouldn't tell him how she knew this. Nina and Cliff made up. They found a note from Linda asking Cliff to forgive her for what she had done. Now Cliff believes Nina's story. He also talked to Donna to confirm it. Contrary to what I had suggested, it doesn't look like Linda took off to Brazil. The police found Zach's airplane ticket. Bob knows that Tad knows about his illness. They made up and are close friends again, but Bob doesn't want anyone else to know about his illness. Jesse told Yvonne that they were through, except as business partners. I think he finally got through to her. He definitely wants to get back with Angie. He went to see Angie's mother, but she says he has to convince Angie and she's not going to interfere. Eugene is definitely making his move on Angie and trying to convince her not to take back Jesse. Ellen is getting more and more suspicious of Ross. Ross is getting more and more irritable. Ellen offered to fix his blue blazer - she noticed he had lost a button. He got real jumpy and told her he'd fix it himself. It looks like it's going to be public knowledge that he found Daisy in Zach's apartment, yet Ross is still trying to convince Ellen that he had a business meeting that night with the guy who Adam said was really in L.A. -- Karen Pline --

Today, Thursday, 5/2: Jasper Sloane was tossing and turning in his sleep, terribly troubled by something. Myra woke him up and he told her he had been carrying around a terrible burden. DA-DUN ... End of Scene. When we get back them, Myra is in shock about whatever he told her. She says she will stand by her dear husband. Cliff was questioning Nina about what happened the day Zach was murdered - Cliff had just found out that she left the hospital without a doctor's permission and that she was terribly upset (isn't she ALWAYS terribly upset?!). He asked her to tell her where she was that night and she got furious and said she wouldn't listen to these accusations. She stormed upstairs and told him not to come near her. The next morning, Brooke stopped by and slipped to Nina that Cliff and Zach had had a terrible fight the day Mike Roy was brought in. Nina was shocked and said to Brooke that she'd better not put that in the news - she KNOWS Cliff didn't kill Zach. Myra overheard Cynthia discussing with Palmer the fact that Zach tried to rape her (Cynthia). Myra told Daisy, who told Palmer and Palmer was reluctant to bring it up in court. We don't know what will happen with that. Tad has to testify today - Bob does also, for the defense, which means he has to testify against Tad. Tad, incidentally, had another romantic evening with Micki. In the midst of this, Hillary stops by and finds out that Tad has a woman there. She is outraged, but Tad puts her in her place by telling her she's jealous - now she knows how it feels for him that she's with Bob. She says, no, Bob and I haven't ... but Tad was too furious to really listen. There was a scene later on with Bob and Hillary - she was studying in bed. Judging by her behavior when Bob put the moves on her, and from what she said with Tad, it would seem that the marriage is not consummated. I'm sure there's more, but I don't remember it all right now. [ONE editorial comment : BRING BACK TAYLOR MILLER!!! (the *original* Nina)] - hooked for 10 of 21 years

All My Children - Friday, May 24 Daisy has been sentenced to 25 years to life for killing Zach. Cynthia actually came up with an alibi for the time Zach was killed. She had driven up to Willow Lake. She found a gas credit card receipt that showed the date and time she was there. Cliff and Brooke are apparently investigating things on their own to try to find out who really killed Zach. Cynthia was Cliff's first suspect. Oh well. Bob's disease is in remission. He's keeping the truth from everyone because he doesn't want to lose Hillary. He's pressuring her to get pregnant. She made an appointment to see Bob's doctor (unbeknownst to Bob) to ask the doctor if there was a chance that Bob's blood disease could be passed on to the child. Bob found out and called the doctor's office and asked Hillary to come home because he felt bad. She didn't get to see the doctor, but Bob told her that he had already spoken to the doctor and that the disease isn't hereditary. Tad is going to work for Tempo magazine and will be moving to New York.

It would be very easy for her to have driven to Willow Lake the next day and she could have changed the date on the charge machine. Well, since there haven't been many postings regarding AMC, I went home for lunch today to catch up on the action. Boy, was it worth it. Erica is now the Editor of TEMPO magazine - Adam Chandler is the publisher. Adam is using Tad, who is employed as a mail boy, to keep track of Erica. Dottie is also working for Tempo in the advertising department. Erica is doing fine as Editor. She hired an artist to do the lay-outs. He's very mysterious - and he has the same odd coin that Erica found after Mike's apparition left it at the monestary. Erica keeps trying to get the guy to tell her about himself, but he keeps avoiding the subject. Andrew came to see Dottie at her apartment in New York. He's starting something with her, but it's hard to tell if he's sincere. While Andrew was there, Tad and Greg walked in (Greg and Dottie share an apartment together). It seems Tad is staying at their place until he can find a place of his own. With all of these kids moving to New York, it almost looks as if the major stroy line will be in New York instead of Pine Valley for a while. Andrew then took Dottie out to the Staten Island Ferry and they sailed around and talked all night. Tad gave her a hard time about it when she came home, and it almost looks as if he's a little bit jealous. Daisy has been sentenced to 25 years to life for Zach's murder. Palmer went to see a judge to try to get her sentence reviewed, or a new trial. It looks as if it will have to go through the appeal process, however. The judge was no help. Now the biggie - guess who's pregnant? CYNTHIA!!! She's so hilarious. She was so proud of herself for being pregnant. She thought she was carrying Palmer's child - little did she know that Palmer was sterile! So she went over to the Manor to tell Palmer all about it, but he wasn't there. Anyway, she bragged to Myra about it, but Myra just kept quiet. She was going to let Cynthia dig her own grave. But Myra did tell Daisy. The next morning, Cynthia went to the Glamorama and talked to Donna. She asked Donna if Donna had received good financial support from Palmer because of Donna's child. Of course, Donna said that Palmer was very good to her, but not because of the child. Then she told Cynthia that the child wasn't Palmer's - Palmer is sterile. Cynthia was in shock. But she didn't let it get her down. She went to the Manor later and spoke to Palmer. She told him that she was pregnant - "Of course, I know it's not your child, Palmer. But it is Ross'. Palmer, I'm carrying your grandchild." Palmer just half-grinned at her. It's incredible! What a story-line. Now I wonder... If Cynthia is the murderer, how would the writers deal with having the mother in jail? Will they give the child to Palmer to raise? Or will Ellen accept it, and she and Ross raise it? I wonder if the writers would really deal with this subject. If she isn't the murderer, there are some very interesting plots that can come out of this. Anyway, that's it for today. Any of you out there who watch, please try to post. Unfortunately, I don't have a VCR and I can't get home too often for lunch. Thanks. -- Karen Pline --

Wednesday 5/29 Well, Cynthia told Myra that she was pregnant and she had to tell Palmer right away that she was having his baby. Myra started laughing and wouldn't tell Cynthia why...When Cynthia couldn't find Palmer, she slithered back to the Pine Valley Lodge. The next morning, Cynthia went to the Glamorama to get fixed up before her trip to see Palmer to tell him the "good" news. Talking to Donna, she found out that Palmer is sterle and therefore can not be the father. Cynthia then goes to see Palmer and tells him that she is pregnant with Ross 's child.... This would make the baby really Palmers grandchild... Cynthia wanted Palmer to take her back and raise the baby as his child, making the baby inherit all Palmers fortune....Ha Ha Palmer just laughed in her face and told her he wanted nothing to do with her or the baby. Cynthia then proceeded over to the Chandler Estate. After encountering Ross and exchanging a few words (all bad of course), Elene walked in and found Cynthia with Ross. Cynthia then announced to Elene and Ross that she was carring Ross's baby... Elene rushed out crying... Then Ross told Cynthia that he was going to take her to the hospital and get the pregnancy test done ... And he would wait with her for the results because he did not beleive her. Well she finally admitted that she really wasn't pregnant. Tad started his first day working in the mailroom for Tempo magazine. Dotty started at the same time as a gofer. Of course they had a big fight scene in the mailroom and both almost got fired. It looks like Andrew and Dotty are going to get together. They spend an innocent night on the ferry in NY and kissed good night (morning) at the door. Tad spent the night at Dotty and Gregs apt. because he didn't have a place to go. When do you think Hillary will find out that the only reason Bob wants her to have his baby is so she won't leave him. She is bound to find out that his illness has gone into total remission. Is it true that the woman that plays Mrs. Martin (Tads grandmother) was killed (in real life) in an auto accident yesterday?

I was home sick on Thursday (11/21/85) and this is what I caught of AMC: Tad and Hilary are back together again. Hilary told Tad that she is sorry for everything she's done and that she never should have married Bob (I think that's his name). Tad asked her to come home with him but Hilary had to go home and tell Phoebe that she wouldn't be able to stay for lunch. Phoebe had invited Andrew for lunch so that she could get him and Hilary together. Hilary made up some excuse about having an appointment with one of her Professors. Angie tells Jessie about her and Dr. Whatshisname having to share a room. Jessie sees right through the story and tries to tell Angie that the whole thing was a set up, of course Angie doesn't believe it. Erica dreams about her and Jeremy making love. Natalie and Erica are having a casual conversation about Jeremy when Erica mentions that Jeremy was once very much in love with a woman. Natalie questions Erica to find out who the woman was and Jeremy's father walks in and stops her. Tad and Hilary are upstairs in Tad's room ready to make love when the hear Joe Martin come in. Tad gets rid of him, runs back upstairs but Hilary is already dress. They come to conclusion that they should wait because they want everything to be just right for their first time together. Dr. Whatshisname comes over to give Angie some applications for fill out and Jessie gives him a piece of his mind and tells him that "this better not ever happen again". Angie apologizes for Jessie's attitude and Dr. Whatshisname tells Angie that she should never have told Jessie about them sharing a room. Angie tells him that she doesn't want any secrets in her marriage and that if everyone knew how she felt about her husband and her family they would know that there's no way that anything could every happen between her and whatshisname. Natalie makes a slip while talking to Erica saying that her and Jeremy has have a past together. When Erica tries to question Natalie about their past Natalie tries to wiggle her way out, and when she can't she says she's has a headache and storms out. Jessie overhears some medical student telling Joe Martin that he thinks that Dr. Whatshisname nominated Angie for that award (what ever it is) for some other reason, he is hitting that they maybe having an affair. Jessie grabs the guy and is ready to punch him out when Joe tells the guy to apologize to Jessie. I may have missed something since I was half asleep.
