I haven't watched for awhile, but today's (4/11/85) Asbury Park Press had an article that stated that Quint and Nola (Michael Tylo and Lisa Brown) were being written out of the show. Brown didn't renew her contract, and the producers felt that Quint wasn't worth the storyline alone. They will be sent off on an expedition, only to be heard from in letters. Too bad. Yes!!!!!!!! There is some Guiding Light fans out here, and I proud of it!!!
The only problem is that I don't have that much time to watch it right now.
There is to much schoolwork that I must get done! Oh well not much I can do.

Guiding Light: (9/13)

Well, the big story today is: Will Largo (the leader of the big organized crime organization Infinity) kill David Preston for crossing him?. I guess David is
supposed to kill Kyle Sampson to takeover Sampson Industries for Largo.
If anyone has seen this lately, Doesn't Largo look abit like Daryl (the
new guy staying in the bording house. You know, the one Mindy,Kurt,
Rick, and Roxy think is from the Immigration Dept.
Substory:
The detective is being pressured to make an arrest for Nurse Wheatons
murder and is going to arrest Claire and Ed. But Fletcher saves the
day and warns the two, who hide just in time, because the detective
makes a visit to Mo's place to find them.
Substory:
Miss Sally is up to something. She is trying to convince Muave(sp?)
(Kyles old flame from NY) that Reava(sp?) is a bad person and needs
to be dealt with..Could she be after H.B.?

Well, everyone's O.K. (i.e. Lujack, Beth, Kyle, Curt) that was on the
Infinity boat. Largo("head dude") was killed (he took a cyanide capsule).
Lujack is in critical condition, but has promised to marry Beth when he
gets out of the hospitol.
Billie is still in prison for trying to kill Kyle (we all know he really
didn't).
Kyle wont give in and drop the charges against Billie and Mindy.
Reeva took off for Rio (H.B. gave her the Lewis jet) to get a quick divorce
from H.B. She's afraid that when Kyle finds out Mave (sp?) is carrying
his child, she will be left out in the cold.
It looks like Beth's model cousin (jesse?) has come to town to take away
somebodys boyfriend. She's been coming on to Rick, and he may be falling
for it.
Thats the major stuff for now, any questions can be posted and I'll try
to answer.. I get out of class right before GL and catch it almost
everyday......

When reading the weekly updates in the paper it said Lujack died after the explosion -- I watched Guiding Light Tuesday and Wednesday (it wasn't on Thursday or Friday) and Lujack was still alive -- somebody tell me DID HE DIE? --
