Well, I was home on vacation over the holidays and caught bits and pieces of OLTL, AMC and GL. On AMC -- Shortly before Christmas Hilary was going to break up with Tad, she had found out he was having an affair with the movie producer. Just as Hilary was going to tell him it was off he came over and confessed to Hilary, told her he quit the movie because he didn't want to sleep with the producer (I can't remember what her name was) Tad finally told that movie producer he wasn't interested-- she came over and said he had to pay back the $2500 -- (I'm assuming it was advanced) Phoebe was there at the time and paid off the producer and finally gave her blessing to Tad and Hilary's wedding. They intend to push up the date. Tad is out looking for a job-- Giles is dead! This happened early this week. He went drunk to the Goldpost and hit Tom in front of lots of people. Tom had to be restrained. Sloange and her husband($) I'm not clear on her relationship with this guy. He first showed up end of last week when Giles was in an accident. (He wasn't badly hurt) but Sloange was blaming everything on Brooke. Anyway, Giles is drunk and someone comes into his hotel room wearing a tan raincoat, similar to the one Tom wears, Giles wakes up and says "I should have known it would be you." The two men fight. Giles gets pushed off the balcony. THe police are calling it an accident, Brooke's former co-anchor claims it's not and points out all the inconsistencies. ie, if he accidently fell why was he on his back and not on his face. Since he landed on his back why are their bruises on his face. Sloange was at the scene raving that it was all Brooke's fault. Brooke was offered $5000 to do the story I think by some magazine company, she finally agreed- Tom came home drunk, with brusies on his hands and looking terrible, claims he fell off the wagon and had a fight in a bar with someone he can't remember, he's also not terribly sympthatic when Brooke tells him Giles is dead. Brooke is shaking off the idea that it might be Tom-- Ellen thinks ROss is fooling around-- Jermey has been released from his vows and he and Erica plan to be married in Bangkok, unfortunately Erica can't get there right away, she's going with Alex and Natalie to Canada, Alex is planning to keep her from marrying Jeremy, Alex even made a pass at her-- Natalie is pregnant, she doesn't want to be, even had a nightmare about getting fat-- no one else knows -- Nina came home from the hospital-- she knows she was married to Cliff and some things about Daisy-- she still doesn't treat Daisy very well and it's tearing Daisy apart-- Cliff took Nina to their home, Palmer showed up, claiming to be supportive of anything Cliff wanted to do to help get Nina's memory back because it was driving poor Daisy to crazy-- Cliff swallowed Palmer's story (I wouldn't trust him) On OLTL -- Tina had a lab report faked showing that she is pregnant. She's not really, but has everyone including Clint believing it. Nicki/VIcki is not that stupid, she thinks Tina is lying. Clint knows that Vicki is really Nicki, he's not having her committed. I think Nicki is softening towards him. Asa and Dorian hid in Vicki's house hoping to tape a confession, Asa fell down when the electricty went out preventing them from getting out of the hidden room. Dorian and Asa are convinced that Vicki is really Nicki, she brought all the wrong presents for Kevin and Joey for Christmas. Nicki got her divorce in the Caribeean, Clint tried to stop her, but couldn't (I believe this is where she confessed her true identity to him) -- Aside: DOes this mean we will never see VIcki again? Nicki sold the banner to Asa, Dorian assumed Asa was making her publisher for Christmas, unfortunately that wasn't the case, he gave her a sable coat. At last show Asa was in the hospital, with possible concussion. Larry Wolak's wife Laurel was killed in a car accident. Someone crushed her brake line-- Larry and Rob think it was Ivan Kipling (my money's on Tracy James) -- Rob blames Cassie for Ivan hanging around and murdering his mother. The police know it was murder, there is evidence on Ivan, Cassie still believes in him, Cassies was planning on giving him money to open up his own lab, since the hospital board fired him (Laurel was instrumental in that) Larry and Laurel were supposed to be together in the car but Tracy James fainted and Larry stayed behind with her and Laurel went on alone. Cassie and Rob are fighting, Rob thinks Cassie let Ivan escape. Tina was going to New York to have an abortion (even though she's not pregnant) just so Clint would come and stop her. He did, but he's not planning on marrying her. Tina is still trying to drive wedges between Nicki and Clint. She even stole a letter for Clint from the VIcki's house. SHe had Nicki convinced to leave Landview, but Nicki decided at the last minute not to. Tina is playing the phony pregnancy to the hilt, I wonder how she will explain it when things don't materialize-- Tracy James lives about Deliah's store. Deliah had a dress she was saving for Laurel, Tracy put it on and was admiring herself when her Aunt Ramona came in. A mean lady, told Tracy she would never be able to hide from her again. On GL -- Reva released Kyle to he could marry Maeve-- Kyle met his real father (a Cardinal, you know in the Catholic Church) seems the father didn't know about him either. Fletcher had a fight with Claire, accused CLaire of taking over and using Maureen and Ed. Claire does nothing in the house, Maureen does everything including looking after the baby. Claire sits around and is pampered, her big threat is taking the baby and leaving. She wants to go back to work. Fletcher also turned down her amorous advances. When Ed and Maureen invited Fletcher over for Christmas Claire screamed at him to get out of "her" house. Maureen got pissed off too. Fletcher wanted to do a story on the cardinal but Maeve talked him out of it, Kyle told her the truth. Kyle talked Maeve into marrying him. Billy was best man and Sall was maid of honor. It turns out Sally is really Billy's mother, HB insisted on telling Billy, Billy left in a rage. India's new boy friend Simon, claims to be Alexandra's half brother, the illegitamte son of Brandon Spaulding. Alex has been trying to catch India with this guy so Philip can divorce her and marry Beth. India and Simon tried convincing Alex they were merely friends, but it didn't work and that's when Simon tossed out the fact that he was related. Mindy used Billy's credit cards to buy expensive gifts for everyone for Christmas including a car for Kurt. Kurt gave Mindy two small gifts from his parents and a small rose bush to plant on their land. Mindy was slightly disappointed to say the least and Kurt was angry when he found out when she had given everyone else and how she had paid for it. Kurt asked Billy not to allow her to use his credit cards again, Mindy reluctantly agreed, but it's obvious Kurt can not keep Mindy in the style to which she is accustomed. Reva's father Hawk was paid to come to Springfield by Sally to break up Reva and Kyle. Reva was so depressed she tried to drown herself but fought for life at the last minute. SHe was face down in the snow at the end of the last show. Well that's about all I remember.
