I saw the show last week and it's about time (FINALLY) that Gary snapped
out of his depression over Bobby Ewing's death. I'm sick of watching
everyone feed the babies and ooh and ahh over how wonderful they are...
Yuck!! The one interesting story line that I can see is between Kathy
and Val's brother (I forget his name?), I read in the paper that he is
going to get much worse by the end of the season and he's already such
a total jerk, last week when he gave her a black eye - now that was good
action on the show. No flames about me liking her getting a black eye,
it's just that when I watch night time soaps I like to see action and
not babies getting fed.

I also agree that Gary should find out soon, enough is enough, but
they will probably drag it on all season and use it to be a cliff
hanger at the end of the year..

I MISSED 10/31 show of Knots Landing.
Would anyone supply an update.

Thanks.

As of Thursday night, Gary had suspected the babies' being his (he
dragged the info out of Karen) and was going to the wedding of Val and
Ben to ask her if the babies were his, but at the last minute he changed
his mind.

That guy (Joshua Rush) is really turning into a jerk, isn't he? Not
only is he beating up on Cathy, he has a girl on the side. It's kind of
strange -- last year when he came to the show he wasn't a bad guy at all
-- he was a very spiritually devoted young man. I think the media
pressures, Abby's influence over him, and the fact that he and Cathy
were never really right to start with have turned him into the monster
he is.

It's like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder how I keep from goin' under.

On last week's show (11/21) Josh had a talk with his mother Lutie May (sp)
and we are getting a glimpse on why he's such an a**hole. Apparently,
as a kid he had no mother while growing up and his father was a priest.
He said he needed his father's love but not the spiritual love which all
he got (preached to all the time). And he alluded to the fact that the
old man BEAT him all the time, he had tears in his eyes and for once he
was really sincere. he's still a jerk, but i think the writers are going
to justify his behavior by blaming it on his childhood. After their talk,
Lutie May went to Kathy and apologized, saying that all along she suspected
something wasn't right, etc.. It gave me the feeling that Josh's father
used to beat her, and that's why she left him..

I aggree with your recount of last week`s show, of course I still can't
stand him anyway. Joshua`s wife, Cathy (sp), (the former C.G., found
dead on the beach), maiden name is Cathy Geary, ie. C.G. Just an interesting
sidenote. She's just as bad for not leaving him before this, and in next
week's show he's at her throat with a knife!!

However, I hear tell that he's not long for the show because he wants
out of the series, I can't wait. How WILL they kill him off??????

Well it's time to pick on Knots Landing again. This show is really going
down the tubes with "who gives a %&*$" plots. Last night was too much,
Valine was making breakfast for the kids, and she was making happy faces
with fruit slices in their cereal. Yuck, Barf and GROSS! Cathy walks
around with this wimpy attitude all the time, and did you see her walking
down the street in the green miniskirt. Let's be serious, if I saw
someone walking down the street dressed like that, I'ld think she was
a hooker. I heard a rumor that she will be leaving the show soon.

The storyline with Greg Sumner's brother is BORING!! Last night, when
Laura was over there for dinner, there was a plate of something on the table,
we were trying to figure out what it was. What was it?? did anyone else
notice this? It looked like a giant plate of mini-meatballs or cranberries??

One good part with some action was when Karen and Mac had a fight and Mac
broke the lamp. Other than that the show isn't too interesting anymore..
