I missed last week's One Life to Live. How did Jenny and David get back together? Did she tell him about the lies his ex-wife had told her? I forgot what the name of the ex-wife is but I hear a lot of people call her "old lizard breath". - Bill Cambre houxe!45223wc

I was home for the last 3 days
and was able to watch this soap
(one of the pleasures of being ill)
I'm a little confused though so
a few questions:
1. What happened to Vicki? -- is
she completely Nicki now, or
a combination of Vicki and Nicki.
It was odd seeing Vicki boogying at
a disco to Rick James!!! She
never seemed the type.
2. What about Dehlia? I gathered
she gave birth to Samantha's baby
since Rafe was showing pictures to
Clover.
3. Which brings me to -- where is
Becky and child? Isn't Clover the
sister of the guy who found Becky
after the plane crash. Did she
go with him leaving Asa and son,
or did she take son, or what?
4. What happened between Clint and Vicki?
Vicki caught Tina and Clint sleeping
together (it was innocent on Clint's
part since Tina weasled herself into
his bed while he was drunk).
Well, I have a few more questions, but that's
enough for now.

In answer to your OLTO questions (this might take a while, since it is kind of complicated to explain): 1. Nicki had re-emerged for the first time in 10 years, due to stress about Victor Lord's true nature (he had an affair with Tina's mother and fathered Tina). Vicki couldn't deal with such a horrible truth, so out popped Nicki again (Nicki is Vicki's opposite--carefree, fun-loving, irresponsible--which explains Rick James). Nicki was in love with Harry O'Neil, past president of Lord-Manning. Well, as the result of an elaborate plot by Tina and her deranged lover, Mitch Laurence, Harry O'Neil was killed (the bullet was meant for Clint). The plot involved killing Clint so that Vicki would never re-emerge (she wouldn't want to face life without Clint), and Tina would then legally take control of Vicki's half of the estate--Tina had found a letter from Victor establishing his fatherhood and giving Tina legal right over Vicki's part of the estate, should Nicki ever re-emerge. Well, to make a long story short, Vicki re-emerged when Harry died, and then Nicki came back when hypnotized on the stand. As the only witness to the fact that Mitch killed Harry (and not Tina), Vicki felt obligated to go on the stand to save her half-sister, even though Tina had caused so many problems. Nicki felt trapped in the Buchanan household (Vicki remembers Nicki's exist- ence, but Nicki has no memory of Vicki), so is now pretending to be Vicki so that Clint doesn't have her committed again. However, Nicki as Vicki isn't the old Vicki that Clint loved. She won't sleep with him, she acts out of character, etc. Tina knows what Nicki is up to and has agreed to help her (Tina is one of Nicki's only friends). Tina agreed to move back into the mansion to keep an eye on Nicki's behavior and they have been going to bars as Tiffany and Brenda. In the mean time, Clint is feeling left out and frustrated. Tina has been making the moves on him and he has been responding in a flirty way. Vicki announced at an awards dinner that she is selling her half of Lord-Manning; surprised by this sudden news, Clint goes home and starts getting drunk; Tina follows him home and trys to seduce him. He resists, but passes out, and Tina climbs into bed with him. Nicki/Vicki comes home and sees Tina and Clint in bed and turns back into Vicki. Vicki runs down stairs to call Doctor Polk, freaking out that it's November... when a kidnapper waltzes in to kidnap her, thus turning her back into Nicki. Nicki plots with the kidnapper to take Clint for a lot of money, and sends said kidnapper out into the public to establish alibis. While kidnapper #1 is out, another kidnapper marches in to take Nicki/Vicki hostage again. In the meantime, Clint wakes up and finds Vicki/Nicki's scarf outside the bedroom door; Clint thinks that he and Tina fooled around, were discovered by Vicki, and caused vicki to become Nicki again. It is true that she is Nicki, but Clint is not aware that she has been Nicki all along. Tina took off with Beau to find Nicki, and Tina is on the verge of telling Beau the whole truth, because a bartender said to Tina (in Beau's presence), "Hey, Tiffany, where's Brenda?" Phew! 2. Delila gave birth to Sam and then went on a little European vacation, where she took up designing (ugly) clothes. She tried to re-kindle her relationship with Beau, but they decided to be just friends. Now she's back and is a self-confident, mature woman of the eighties. I think she and Raef will become an item, now that DeeDee and Beau are back together. 3. Becky left town with Billy Wild, Clover's brother, and little Drew. None of them have been on the show since early summer, but they supposedly live some where in Kentucky or someplace and Asa supposedly goes to visit Drew about once a month. Hope this helps catch you up.

Would someone give a brief update. I'm particularly interested in whether Nicki is now Vicki. The last flash I saw Nicki/Vicki was in Clint's arms and she seemed to be responding and acting like Vicki.

I was home sick last week and saw some of one episode. It seems Clint used Tina to bring Vicky back and get rid of Nicky. Clint started undressing Tina when Nicky walked in the room, saw what was happening and 'poof' turned back into Vicky. Clint says that it actually seems like a little of Nicky has blended in with Vicky, so I doubt that Nicky will ever re-emerge again (it has happened more than once). Tina of couse is rather upset about being used like this and is going to try to get Vicky put away so she can get all the money. That's it!
