Windows ------- 3) Does Quickdraw support output to windows that are "behind" other windows? If so, does it handle the overlapping windows properly or does it require the user to figure out which areas of the screen belong to other windows? 4) Is it possible to designate an area of memory as "backup" for a window, so that the Mac automatically refreshes the window when it moves to the top or when the user changes its size? Documentation ------------- 5) Does "Inside Mac" contain enough information to do stand-alone development on a Macintosh (assuming you have a 68000 assembler or cross-assembler)? 6) When will "Inside Mac" contain information about the hardware? 7) What is the update policy on "Inside Mac"? Will you really get updates forever when you shell out the $150, or will you be stuck with an obsolete manual when the next edition comes along? Updates ------- 8) How will current owners be able to get the new versions of the Finder, MacWrite, and MacPaint? Will the updates be free of charge?
