Repeat-by: Use save as... then eject current disk and insert an uninitialized disk. Click Initialize in the next dialog box. And you'll stare at the message "Initializing Disk" forever. There's not even a whir of disk motion. I tried an interrupt (left hand side "programmers button") but a serious system error ensued. Luckily the file was already saved on another disk.
