Anybody know of a brand/model of self-adhesive label that works well on vinyl binders or on the clear plastic sometimes found thereon? Specifically, that: 1. stick well immediately 2. stay on for (virtually) ever 3. can be peeled off at will (i.e. don't dry on permanently) 4. don't leave a gummy deposit when peeled off 5. are suitable for writing on some instrument or other As for the adhesive qualities, I'm assuming, well, summer heat in an un-air-conditioned house, but probably not storage in the back of a car. -- Kenn (decvax!)goutal

Well, I have tried just about everything on the market. The only thing that seems to be permanent is the adhesive used on bandaids (no joke, I repair broken ones with bandaids). I have never found a label with the same adhesive, but there are some cloth tapes with the same stuff. Apparently the adhesive cannot be put onto paper for some esoteric reason.
