From within MacPaint, set the black pattern and toggle into FatBits mode. Draw 3x5 pixel and 5x3 pixel filled ellipses. One will be a rectangle and the other will have corners chopped. The effect is most noticeable when drawing long narrow (3 pixels) horizontal ellipses. Pete (monta@cmu-cs-g)
