Sorry, but I don't follow your argument the whole way. I wish I could agree with you, but making laws only to protect those who might be injured is a problem. Like you, I wish that people were more considerate. I am one of those lucky(?) people who are very allergic to perfumes/ scents of any type. People who use scented deoderants, scented soaps, perfume, etc., all cause me to get headaches and have full sinuses. Yet, if I were to advocate the doing away with of all scents from public environments, I'm sure I would get VERY heavy flak. P.S. I am not a smoker, and in fact am as anti-smoking as you can get. I think laws like the Minnesota Indoor Clean Air Act of 1975 (No smoking in public indoor places except where posted) are great, but even in MN they are not enforcable.
