Mark, the proposed groups ont.micro, ont.micro.mac, and ont.singles are for information specific to ONTARIO. Why burden the net with text that is only of interest to a local geographic area?? Only if people would use these groups where it makes sense to. References: <284@lsuc.UUCP>, <287@lsuc.UUCP> -- --------- Bill McLean @ Ont. Ministry of Health {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!isis

Nuke the groups. The idea is to post to net.micro or net.singles with a DISTRIBUTION of ``ont''. The ont groups were a good idea when there was no distribution feature, but those days are long past... Laura Creighton utzoo!laura

I subscribe to ont.micro but not to net.micro. I just don't have time to read all the articles in net.micro, but I am interested in what people locally have to say about micros. The fact that articles are infrequent in ont.micro means I stay subscribed to it. As I understand "Distribution", it will require me to read net.micro in order to get the same information I get in ont.micro. (If I am wrong correct me.) I vote for keeping ont.micro.
