Nice to see that net.music.classical is here at last! Now
let's all contribute good stuff so that it's readership
will increase.
To help kick things off, I'd like to remind some of you old-timers
of the NBC Symphony Orchestra radio concerts conducted by
Arturo Toscannini. These were *live* broadcasts! While the NBC
folks never threatened to cut the program off if it should run
past the end of the hour, the Maestro somehow was always able to
pace the various peices so that the program *always* ended in
time.
Is anyone aware of any re-issues of recordings of these programs?
