The 1984 national convention of the OHS (Organ Historical Society)
will be held in Chicago August 20-24. Recitals and demonstrations
on 18 historic organs in the area will be featured. Optional tours
on the 24th include a visit to some new instruments. This is also an
excellent opportunity to converse with pipe organ players, builders,
and enthusiasts from around the country.

The registration information lists the instruments to be seen. With
the exception of a positive from 1698 and a couple of 100-stop organs
from the 20's, most of the organs are trackers from the period 1865-1920.
