If there is anyone that will be relocating and will be doing the
moving themselves please take note of the following account.

On August 2, 1983 I placed a deposit on a rental truck from JARTRAN
TRUCK RENTAL. The Deposit Receipt I received after placing the deposit states
on it that the deposit does not guarantee a truck will be available. It is
merely to insure yourself that should a truck be available the depositor would
be given priority over a customer that had not placed a deposit. With this in
mind I made it a point to verify the rental agreement with JARTRAN TRUCK on
a number of occasions. Each time I was informed that there would be no
problem. I even verified it 3 days prior to day I was to pick up the truck.
Again I was told that a truck would definitely be available. Boy was that a
joke. I received a call at the close of the the very next business day (about
5:00 or 5:30 pm.) that no truck would be available. I don't have to tell you
that I was fuming at this point. The poor quality of business is unbelievable.

It has been a few hours since the incident. I thought it best to let
myself calm down a bit before submitting the note. PLEASE be advised, I have
spoken with others that have had run ins with JARTRAN TRUCK and said that
that was par for the course for them. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, BE WARNED THAT
THIS SITUATION IS QUITE FREQUENT WITH:

I had better stop now. The room temperature is starting to rise. Please
take notice. I hope I have been of some assistance.
