[net.music.classical] Opera in the Original Language

Personally, I prefer to listen to operas in their original language, since
the composer worked the lyrics into the music. (Admittedly, I also like to
see a well-done libretto, so I can follow what is going on).  I fear that
much is lost in the translation - I suspect that much is lost from Shakespeare
(or George Bernard Shaw, if you prefer an example closer to our times) when
his plays are presented in a language other than English.
