<chomp> There is a way to have your cake and eat it two when you want to preview a particular work without shelling over the cost of several (LP|CD|tape)s Most public libraries have record collections, that are generally heavy on' classical works. Agreed, the LP's may not be in A-1 condition, but at least you'll get an idea about what a particular work sounds like. Another alternative that may or may not be practical is to listen to a concert of the work before buying a recording of it. Bill Mitchell (whuxl!wjm)
