b Obviously the answer is 2/3. You find a gold coin; this means that you did NOT pick the cabinet with the two silver coins. That leaves 4 drawers: gold gold gold silver. You used up one gold drawer, leaving gold gold silver. They are equally accessible (since the gold drawer you picked was random, its "other" drawer of the pair is equally random); the probability of the other drawer having a gold coin is 2/3.
