Boy that was tedious to decode, with EDT. Some respond to some of my pieces (especially women and wind pieces) as though my music were very erotic. They ask me, "Tom, were you trying to represent eroticism," and if it's a guy asking I tell the truth and say, no, it's just a largo double canon in retrodgrade with a hauptpunct in the center (the second flute duet), or, no, it's just the only suitable ending for the flute quartet, a full minute of vibrating, slowly descending, diminuendoing trills to a sigh at the end. If it's a women, I say, "You're the only one that caught on." Don't over-interpret.
