[net.music.classical] Tilson-Thomas

I have enjoyed a number of recordings with Michael
Tilson-Thomas conducting. I also have an excellent
album with a side of John Cage dances for prepared piano,
with Michael Tilson-Thomas as one of the pianists.
The flipside is Four Organs by Steve Reich, again with
Tilson-Thomas playing one of the keyboards.

Joh McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra
(2nd incarnation, Jean LucPonty on violin) recorded
their Apocalypse with the London Symphony,
Tilson-Thomas conducting. This is another nice record.

I have never seen Tilson-Thomas perform or conduct live,
but I am looking forward to the day when I do. He has
done a lot to expose more contemporary composers'
works to the public.
