[net.music.classical] British Airways and "The Hunger"

A recent British Airways commercial and the movie "The Hunger" share
a piece of rather pleasent music. It is chorus of female voices.
I was wondering if anyone on the net new it's name and composer, and if
any recordings of the piece are available.

Thanks

The piece you are thinking of is a duet from the opera "Lakme"
by Delibes. It is not much performed these days and recordings
of it are hard to find. It is available on the soundtrack to
"The Hunger", and is sometimes found on collections of arias
by various sopranos. If you are seriously interested, I would
suggest looking in Schwann to find what label still has the
opera in print.
