Since February 1984, when I bought my CD player, I purchased 60 CDs (all classical). 42 were manufactured in Japan, whereas 18 were manufactured in Germany. Of the 42 manufactured in Japan, I did not find any defective CD! On the other hand, 3 of the 18 manufactured in Germany were defective, and had to be replaced. The 3 were on the Philips, London and Angel Labels. I don't know, if this is a coincidence or that the Japanese are making (as usual) a better product. Does anyone have a similar experience? -- Yosi Hoshen, Bell Laboratories Naperville, Illinois, (312)-979-7321, Mail: ihnp4!ihuxn!jho
