April 27 Clerkes, Jongleurs and Minnesingers
(looks impressive in proper calligraphy)
Hailed for its 12th century Daniel and the Lions and Roman de Fauvel from
the 14th century, EEM will unearth yet more heretofore unheard masterpieces
from the time of Chaucer, by Adam de la Halle and from Bach's most distant
heritage - the music and poetry of the Teutonic minnesingers. Songs, dances
and improvizations of the 13th century will be performed on a plethora of
medieval instruments. [hmmmm-this could've been misread as a PDQ Bach
concert :-) ]
