Names get changed from being on a computer, at least (if not a net). My login has always been toc (Tim O'Connor, my initials) since I've been on unix. Once people noticed this they started calling me `toc' in conversation, this had never been the case before. Even old friends started referring to me by my login. Another friend, initials KLH (I'm not *really* sure about the L), the other initials were already taken as a login. I guess `z' was the next letter in line. to'c rule. A new job, a new login & I haven't been called `timo' since 3rd grade!!!
