Recently, the UUCP Mapping project has stopped using the USENIX machine
for a "home base" for the maps. So, for the last few years, we have
accumulated quite a number of sites that poll us, but whom we never
call (i.e., in L.sys, the "time to call" field is "Never").
Now that they don't need to call in for maps, quite a few of those
sites have stopped calling completely, but seem to have left references
to the USENIX machine in their map ... subsequently, mail is beginning
to pile up for a few sites ... if you run one of the following machines
and wish to continue calling us, please drop me a note so we can set up
a new login for you (the old generic "uucp" login will be going away,
as well as the generic "uumap" login for all the mapping sites), and
publish an up-to-date map entry.
People we NEVER call but who do call or have called us in the past:

This is also an excellent time for all of our regular callers to
checkpoint with us about your link. Our goal is to have all incoming
UUCP connections have separate UIDs.
That would include the group

Thanks for you help and cooperation.
