Topic: TO CATCH A THIEF
So, your computer system has been broken into. Now what? The
discovery, investigation, and successful prosecution of a
computer crime is not a simple and straight forward exercise
that you may have been lead to believe. This session will
explore the investigation of a computer crime in the context of
the discovery, evidence gathering, and case building techniques
that must be employed. It will include such topics as:
- Putting together an investigative team
- Discovering the incident
- Identifying the perpetrator
- Gathering evidence.
