Subject: mail to CMU's DEC20'S
HELP!
I am desparately trying to find a routing path to the undergraduate
DEC20 machines at Carnegie-Mellon U., Pitts., Pa. They exist on BITNET as
CMCCTB-CMCCTG but all attempts to crossover at ucbvax have yielded nothing.
They also (supposedly) can be addressed through CMU-CS-A.ARPA but a correct
protocol is necessary. If anyone has succesfully addressed these machines or
has helpful advice I would certainly appreciate it since their semester gets
out in 1 1/2 weeks!

Andrew,
Did you get my mail about this ?
Even though I don't have a valid account on TOPSF anymore,
I still do have an ID. Before my account went away, I set my
mail forwarding to CMU-EE-FARADAY. Just sent myself a message
on CMCCTF (from the Usenet), through another ARPANET host, through
CMUC (and maybe to TOPSF). As far as I could tell, it never made
it (after 24 hours - plenty of time considering the path I took)
because it never got forwarded to Faraday. I guess that I never
expected it to make it - rememver, this is the Computation Center
we're dealing with here...
I'd be interested in knowing if you got my mail.
