Paul Israel, alias Renegade of Berkeley, has recently purchased a UNIX PC, alias AT&T 7300, and with the help of certain co-conspirators, has configured it as a UUCP node. The site name of this new node is hamster. My address on the new node is ucbvax!dual!qantel!hamster!israel although I can still be reached at my office address at ucbvax!dual!qantel!israel Response time to mail sent will generally be faster from hamster, however. Mail only is being transferred, not the USENET news (sorry, I could only afford the 10 Meg disk for the time being). Hamster will now also become the official home of True Grit Mysteries, alias Tales of Roger Guts, PI. This will make it possible for me to work at home on my writing in my spare time, possibly resulting in higher quality output of this nonsense in the future, but I doubt it.
