To be sure, net.people is for finding people. But new users may not realize (which is why I am following this up rather than just sending mail) is that most systems have aliases such as "postmaster" or at least "root" which go to the system manager or administrator. There have been many postings saying "I know this person is on system X -- what is your login name?" If you have an site name for someone but do not know their login name, write to the system manager on that system. (system!postmaster) -Fred
