Thank you to all of you who sent me the addresses to reach Bitnet sites
from Csnet. These are two of the possible addresses:
1) user-id%bitnet-site.BITNET@WISCVM.ARPA
2) bitnet-site.BITNET!user-id@ECSVAX
and they worked!!!
Now I am posting this message for my friends in Italy. They called me
by phone and they said they are not able to reach me from there. Their
message goes to Wisconsin and then back to Italy! Does anybody
know the address from Bitnet to Csnet or Arpanet? The Bitnet machine
they are using is an IBM 3081 (or 3083). I am particularly interested
in these addresses since I will be going back to Italy in two weeks
and I will use the Bitnet site (ICINECA) for my electronic mail.
