Does anyone know why the Earth seems so much smaller when the
moon is on the horizon? Gives me the creeps, sometimes.

Also, how come sometimes when you're driving on a hot day, you
see these shimmering puddles of water up ahead, but when you get to
them, they've all dried up? I never figured that one out either.

And then you know those dealy-bobbers, the ducks made out of
glass that dip into a bowl of water, and then bob up again, and then
tilt over into the bowl, etc.? Well, hey, that's your solution to
the energy crisis, right there! Just make big honkin' ones, out near
the ocean. But how come nobody but me's thought of it?

    Go ahead, feel insulted,
