IF "sas" has ARPA access you should be able to use an address like: S.PAE@DEEP-THOUGHT.MIT.EDU Otherwise you should investigate the shortest UUCP path from "sas" to an ARPA gateway. If you can find a shorter path to "ucbvax" you should be able to substitute it in as above.
