[net.origins] if youve got the time

I read an argument similar to this last year during a philosophy
of religeon class. I cant remember the author but the kernal of the
argument was ... Since the human eye is so complex, and the probabitity
of a random conglomeration/amalgamation of atoms to form a human eye
is so slight, the human eye must have been created by some design.
the argument was then applied to the universe.
I didnt buy this argument then nor can I now.
When in the course of random events, not only can anything happen,
it can happen at any time. it can also happen twice. it can occur any number of
times repetitively(spl?). but the BIG secret is that it can happen on the
first occurrance. the probability of it occuring has nothing to do with the
initial occurrance. NO MATTER HOW SLIGHT THAT PROBABILITY IS.
creationism vs. evolution.... who cares. it really doesnt matter.

the opinions expressed here are those of myself and not of my employers
since they had very little to do with the creation/evolution of the universe.

thank you.
