!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The books dealing with over 500 case histories of persons revived from clinical death are titled "Life After Life" and "Reflections on Life After Life". The author is Doctor Raymond Moody, a psychiatrist. Last time I checked psychiatrists were not considered "pseudo-scientists" and since they are also M.D.'s, their work should not be discarded in a casual manner. I found the books very interesting. bonnie!jmm J. M. McGhee

There is a similar book written by an M.D. named Maurice Rawlings. It's called "Beyond Death's Door". Rawlings is a Cardiologist. He has had the opportunity to rescusitate several people who have "died" and interview them shortly afterward. One interesting observation he made is that many people forgot their after death experiences after a time--especially the unpleasant ones. He found fault with Moody's work only in that as a psychiatrist he conducted his interviews with people months or even years after the experience. Rawlings' book adds another dimension to "Life After Life". As a former atheist, Rawlings largley credits his experience in this area with his present belief in Christianity and the existence of Hell as well as the other, "nice place". -- Paul Dubuc {cbosgd,ihnp4}!cbscc!pmd The true light that enlightens every one was coming into the world...
