[net.origins] Re. The True God . . .

Since you claim your posting is not a parody I can only say, "go for it!".

I was very impressed with your presentation. All that and from someone who
obviously has never read a theology book, a philosophy book and perhaps even
a science text! Wow. May I only suggest you throw in something about space
men (very popular now) to spice up your gig and then come out with a paper
back (Dell, Grove Press??) and who KNOWS where it might lead. I look forward
to seeing you on the talk show circut, maybe even (Gasp!) DONOVAN!! Just a
tip if I may. Don't get booked with the guy making the rounds who is eating
himself a piece at a time! He'll blow you away! But you've got the inside
track on what's hot (sex just doesn't do it anymore, even Dr. Ruth Restover
seems jaded) with your zingers at the religious view point and your warmed
over (back to the 1st century for some of it!, good goin') evaluation of
the Christian/Jewish God in particular.

Er . . . perhaps another tip (one hesitates to advise a master). Make your
move before you get to High School! They sometimes MAKE you read for homework
assignments. Don't want your vision to get clouded before you're ready, eh?

But sounds like you have it all together for the mental fast food circut!!

Good luck.

Oh, and after High School - or during if you take the easy course - I would
suggest you dip into the writings of a few good men who started from your
position, more or less, like C.S. Lewis (MERE CHRISTIANITY, MIRACLES, etc.)
and G.K. Chesterton (THE EVERLASTING MAN) and for a real fun ride try
THE PHILOSOPHY OF RELIGION by Elton Trueblood.

For college try the works of Francis Shaeffer (THE GOD WHO IS THERE, HE IS THERE
AND HE IS NOT SILENT, ESCAPE FROM REASON).

Now I only expect you to receive a sense of perspective, if not humility, from
this reading though God works in mysterious ways, witness the later writings
of Malcom Muggerage, eh? (You might try them as well.)

You are a breath of fresh air lad!

Keep chargin'
