I have just read two articles, both by "pro-life" authors, that complain that the "issue" in "focus" is the "fact" that a fetus is human from the time of conception. These people REFUSE to admit that a fetus is human from that point ONLY from their own viewpoint. Until the time that people admit that BOTH sides have valid, well thought out, intellegently arrived at viewpoints, there will be NO CONCENSUS. In other words, Paul and Sophie are shouting in the wind right now. Paul says that everyone should accept his ethical postulates and then argue, and Sophie says that everyone should at least consider hers first (which is a bit more sensible). ENOUGH!
