"The value of a thing is equal to the amount of sorrow its removal from existence will cause." Are you saying that things that do not exist are valueless? If so, why should I ever work to create something? Precise definitions of terms in discussions of the sort carried on in this newsgroup (and others!) are very important. They enable the participants to be sure that they are referring to the same concepts when they use the same terms. Among the terms I have not seen carefully defined here are: 'life', 'human', 'murder', 'should', and so on. Lack of these definitions makes some things easier to say, but only at the cost of robbing them of their meaning.
