Help with HP2000 System... I put something about this up a few months ago, but I'm putting it up again in hopes of getting a response this time. Several friends and I have come accross an old HP2000 computer at an auction. It seems to be in decent shape, with a few things missing. Like I/O cables, power cords, and DOCUMENTATION. If anyone possibly has any documentation, insight, ideas, help, info, etc etc into this computer it would be GREATLY appreciated by three people who want to see this thing come back to life really bad (it was the first computer of ANY kind I ever used, what seems like many moons ago). We have plenty of software on paper tape. We even have the paper tape reader. But we have no idea where the reader gets plugged into the rest of the system. I have called the HP infor- mation center in Illinois (I think thats where it was anyway) and the general response was "you have a what?". This is also the response i get from the local sales offices here. Even some information on somewhere to turn for help would earn you a case of hamburgers from your favorite fast food place. HELP!!! I can be reached either through Sean (the owner of this account) or you can send to ukma!ukmb!dmm or ukma!ukmc!dmm (either one is fine, since they both sit on the same table (3b2's)). Thanks in advance to anyone who may even consider replying. David M.
