/***** hpcvlo:net.micro.hp / ucbtopaz!cnrdean / 9:12 am Jul 15, 1985*/ If you know of a terminal emulation program for a hp86 I would appreciate any information you can provide. Sam Scalise /* ---------- */ The hp86 and 87 have a terminal enulator package which emulates a hp 2622 terminal. According to the 1985 hp product catalogue, what you would need is a: HP 82900A Opt. 001 (HP-86B Term/80) $495. This is an auxiliary processor modual and software. If you already have a cp/m system, order the HP 82849A software only ($200). HP 82939A Opt. 001 (RS232 Serial Interface) $395. Option 001 is with a male connector and the standard 82939A has a female connector. I'd double check those order numbers and prices with whoever you place your order with in case they have changed. Hope this helps, Dan Garfinkel - Hewlett-Packard

HP DMK (formerly CSO) maybe DMSO from what I've heard, lists TERM80, Data Communications and Professional Communications as datacomm software. All list for $200.00. When we first installed our system we had quite a few 86's & 87's around and used TERM80. It does require a CP/M card and is marginally acceptable if you can live with pressing [shit] [ctrl] [leftbracket] (3 keys) for escape. Steve Rhoads
