I am curently working with a hp150 that uses PAM (personal aplications manager) and msdos the problem is that PAM is desined to be idiotproof and it write protects files. was wondering if anyone knew how to unwriteprotect these files so that I can change config.sys to use command.com insted of pamcode.exe Thanks in advance Elazar Rosenthal

[Just in case...] I have found it easier just to rename the files rather than go in and try to un-write-protect files. You can do it of course. Dubug allows reading and writing of raw sectors on discs, but it is kind of tough. Keith Marchington Hewlett-Packard Portable Computer Division Corvallis, OR
