Hi. I've been trying to compile Micro-emacs version 3.7 on my HP 150, but I don't have one of the supported compilers, and it burps up on function pointers some of the time. The README file that comes with the Micro-emacs source tells of disks that have the source on them, plus executables, including one for the HP 150. Does anyone out there have the executable, either transferred over from one of those disks or compiled on their own machine? Have you been able to get it to work? And (the big question) would you be able to e-mail it to me (a version that has been compressed using 'compress', then uuencoded, if you want to save a little extra net traffic)? All I've got now for a text editor is WordStar, which is quite workable, but I'd like to get a more flexible and powerful editor like Micro-emacs. Steve VanDevender stevev%uo-vax1%uoregon.UONET

Yes, there is a micro-emacs (enhanced, even!) for the HP150. It would be easier for me if you sent a disk (w/postage) to me; I will then send you a copy of microemacs plus documentation. Scott Linn 4410 NW Walnut #204 Corvallis, OR 97330
