This is an unusual request, please don't get mad:
HP is coming to our campus (Oct 2) to interview for foriegn
employment, Hong Kong is one of the country. Unfortunately, I
have little information on what HP does in HK except from
memory (5 years ago) that you can find HP programmable
calculators in any calculator or camera stores, regardless of
their high price tag.
Can anyone tell me what other things they sell?
Do they market their micros, minis, workstations, or
test instruments there?
What do they hire computer science graduates to do?

HP's operations in Asia, including Singapore, Korea, China, Taiwan and Malaysia, are managed from the office in Hong Kong. While there is no manufacturing or R&D done there, as far as I know, there is a major sales and service office, and the company's Asian data communications network is supported by that office.
