This is an unusual request, please don't get mad: HP is coming to our campus (Oct 2) to interview for foriegn employment, Hong Kong is one of the country. Unfortunately, I have little information on what HP does in HK except from memory (5 years ago) that you can find HP programmable calculators in any calculator or camera stores, regardless of their high price tag. Can anyone tell me what other things they sell? Do they market their micros, minis, workstations, or test instruments there? What do they hire computer science graduates to do? peter ------------------------------------------------------------------------ uucp: {akgua|allegra|harvard|seismo|topaz|ucbvax}!uwvax!uwmacc!pwu arpa: pwu@unix.macc.wisc.edu bitnet: WU at WISVMACC

HP's operations in Asia, including Singapore, Korea, China, Taiwan and Malaysia, are managed from the office in Hong Kong. While there is no manufacturing or R&D done there, as far as I know, there is a major sales and service office, and the company's Asian data communications network is supported by that office.
