[micro.general] son of modem survey

This is the second installment of my modem survey. I'm down to
about two responses a day now so this may be it. I'll only update
this if I get ten or more additional responses. Thanks to all
the fine people who responded.
       The modems surveyed are 1200 baud jobs that **send break**.
For this reason the Anchor Automation 1200 baud is not counted.

Ven-tel 212+'s  2 very good 2-very bad 1-ok but some software pain
Penril DCD 300/1200 3-verygood 1-ok but flakey 1-ok but pain to use
USR Password 1-good with some work needed  15 verygood 1-not reliable

Datec PAL212A 1-very good

UDS 212LP 3-very good 1-good only words at 1200
CCS 7710A 1-very good
Vadics 2-good but lousy documentation 2-very good but expensive

Novation Smart Cat 1200 1-good but sends break in strange way
