I have the PC-CACHE program that comes with PCTOOLS V.5. It works with some of the other programs I have. But when I try to enter WordPerfect 5.0, WP5 crashes during the loading process. I don't feel strongly about using PC-CACHE with WP5 -- WP5 contains it's own cache or buffer system for frequently used files or overlays. But I am curious what's the problem. Has anyone else found this problem. It looks like WP5 can't find the files that it wants to load, when PC-CACHE is resident. I know that WP5 and PC-CACHE both use expanded memory as a default. (Rest of my equipment:IBM PC, 20MB ST225 HD, 360k and 1.2M floppies and SuperMulti I/O FDC, PC Option board, JRAMIII PC memory board with 1.5M). Any ideas?
