I have been asked to fix an old program written in IBM compiled Basic version 1.0 (circa 1982) and I need some information that is not covered in the original manuals. If you have experience linking external assembler routines with compiled IBM basic, I would greatly appreciate receving email from you. The program in question does direct screen memory manipulation and therefore causes snow on CGA screens. I have two asm routines that move data to and from the screen, respectively. The routines work fine as long as there are no CHAIN statements in the progra Errors range from system lockup to "String Space Corrupted". -- Steve Griffin University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Courseware Development Project usgrif@ecsvax.uncecs.edu
