                                      WANTED:
                                     --------

                             2 Graduate Students with
                               VLSI/UNIX Experience

The ITRC and the University of Toronto will have booths at this years High
Technology Show at the CNE on October 17 & 18. It is planned that the side-by-
side booths share a common exhibit which will feature graduate students working
in modern IC design environment. This environment will consist of a SUN4 or
SPARC workstation running CADENCE and other VLSI design software. The
objective is to give visitors a sense of the high quality of research being
conducted at the U of T and other ITRC funded institutions.

We require 2 graduate students familiar with VLSI design software in a
UNIX environment to adapt the software and to use it to demonstrate their
research at the show. The station will be made available to them one week prior
to the show. Arrangements can be made for technical assistance should it be
required. All expenses will be covered and remuneration will be according to
the standard TA hourly rates. The demonstrators will also have an excellent
opportunity to meet industry visitors to the booth and thus make valuable
contacts.
