I just tried to read net.religion.jewish, and it was empty. Well, maybe we just need a topic to get us rolling. May I suggest kosher restaurants. While each person should consult his/her Rabbinic authority for verification, this might be very helpful to those of us who travel on occaision, and would rather not live off of tuna fish. As a start, are there any good places near washington, dc or baltimore? There is a pretty nice deli/restaurant in Philadelphia, The Gold Cut, 245 S 17 St., near Locust. 215 735 4762. Since I'm in the New York area, it wouldn't make much sense for me to list places around here (the volume might crash the net), but people from 'outlying areas' (I'm already cringing, so you can send the regional pride flames to /dev/null 8-) ) might want to list their local favorites.
