#N:fortune:39800003:000:1117 fortune!burton Feb 29 12:03:00 1984 It's amazing that a sub-topic that has been around for only a few weeks has generated so much traffic. It seems to validate that phrase, for which I cannot give a citation, "Two Jews, three opinions." Being Jews, we tend to be very individualistic and follow our consciences, but let's see if anyone on the net (Dave Sherman, Avi Gross????) would abe the "keeper o the discussion topics". Under this idea, if we wish to intro- duce a new topic, we'd message privately t the list keeper, who would post the topic only when some of the other topics fhave quieted down. The current topics seem to be, in no particular priority: 1. Torah and observance 2. Kashrut 3. Kosher restaurants 4. Intermarriage 5. Religious holidays and taking off from work Apologies if I've left anything off. Except for seasonal issues, such as Pesach observances, let's confine our discussions to these topics for the time being. #R:fortune:39800003:fortune:39800005:000:251 fortune!burton Mar 2 10:16:00 1984 Avi, my only concern is that there is a reasonable limit to the number of topics that we on this international group (chavurah ? ) can discourse on at once, without spending too much time each day reading. (This typically is my lunch hour.) Shalom
