Does anyone know if there exists any documentation on the customs of reading certain verses of the Megilla in slightly different tunes (e.g. the verse "Vyeehav Hamelech es Esther Mikol Hanashim Vatisa Chen Vachesed...." (in the second perek) and "Maher Kach Es Halvush Ve'es Hasus Kaasher Dibarta Vaase Chen Lemordecai Hayehudi...."). I realize the significance of these verses and I can offer an explanation but is this documented fact or just tradition? Nemi (pegasus!lzpfc!klein)
