It seems that my fears were correct and people were taking my article on taking days off for Purim, Tisha B'av, and Chol Hamoed (not in order of significance) the wrong way. It was not meant to tell people what to do or to look down at anyone (chas vshalom) for working on these days - I'm sure there are plenty of valid heterim (reasons to be lenient). For anyone who was in any way offended I would like to offer my sincere apologies. My article was in response to Andy Tannenbaum's statement that Purim was a day that one should NOT take off for - I was simply objecting to that statement which he presented as fact and was presenting evidence to the contrary.
