The soviet government is doing a fine job of destroying all Judaism within its borders. The younger generations have not been allowed to learn; by and large their knowledge of their religion is pitifully small, and they have little to pass on to their children and grandchildren. In 80 years, the number of Jews in the USSR may dwindle from millions to nearly zero. Meanwhile I do appreciate that they are controlling their Jewish population with mild terror rather than outright torture and murder.
